Shax - i would be very interested in the parts you used.

2 x H4 plugs and terminals to get the low current switched feed for the relays.
2 x H4 sockets for the headlight hi current feed.
I used 4 x 40A relays and fused relay sockets, 2 per side, so low beam and high beam get a dedicated relay and fuse.
All relays are switched from the standard lighting switch, which needs NO MODS or direct wiring, and only use a few ma, so zero load on the switch.
The bulbs are fed from an 8AWG fused feed from the battery.
LOADS of wire!!!

So many fuses, so little time to find the blown Censored .. !!!! Nah, simple to find the dead ones when they go as all circuits have a fused feed. ... ,-------,

Shax - I don't believe that wattage is legal though Confused

Quick to change the bulbs, not quite so quick to replace a melted headlight stalk in the arse-end of nowhere...
I drive with legal bulbs, but sometimes extra wattage is needed... Nuff sed! ... ,-------,

Here's a quick lashup of the schematic of the mod...
