puma clutch
First I have to say that this forum help me a lot!, I am reading for a long time the posts in the forum.
In the last week I here the noise from the clutch, when I tern off the car in neutral geer, I read about this noise in the forum before I had one.
I aproch Land Rover dealer and advise him about the noise, after a few meetings they advise they will do all the job and parts on they account., I have to say that my defendr is MY2007 and have 50k km on it.
before 35k they change geer and clutch.
my arguments was :
1. that this clutch not spose to finish after 35k km.
2. the noise was there ( not same volume)when i both the defender from them , 8 months a go and less 15 k km.

but now two day after they change the clutch, the nice is back, not in the same volume but all the time when i tern off the car in nutral you here the grrrrrrrrrr...

Definately a clutch that needs changing. Same symptoms as mine ie. pedal depressed no rattle on turnoff, before it was changed. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

No, it is the number of hours labour Landrover will pay the dealer for doing the work under warranty, and is generally less than the number of hours the job actually takes, and also generally less than the times listed in the official Repair Times Manual.
