Without an insulation tester or ohmeter it is just a matter of continuing to disconnect the outputs first then the inputs wherever possible in the circuit continually replacing the fuses until they no longer blow to determine where the short circuit lies be it in one of the components (like the stalk itself) or the loom.

do you have a dim-dip model ? have a look under the drivers side wing for the resistor

Cheers ill get fault finding just hope it's not the loom it's self.
I remember a resister when I took it to bits but its not there now, what does it do? |
