I decided now that my tank is nice and clean I wanted no more chance of water in the breather.
Dealer never bothered to change the breather so I decided to extend it into the cab. While doing this I noted a lot of openings below the speaker panels which I siliconed up - thanks Shorty for that tip. Some pictures atached with my idea - hope it works without any fumes. people more knowledgable than me may disagree, but i would be concerned about fumes, just think about a hot day with your defender park'd up and the fuel and tank getting all warm and the preasure building and expelling into the cab, if however there is a non-return valve you are putting your faith in that little part, just a thought.

You can light a match on the tube and nothing would happen. It is more dangerous to blow a match with a fart. Puma 110" SW

Very true - Fumes are carcinogenic. I'd route it outside if you can. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
