Need a couple of indestructible radio antenna, any ideas?
Will shortly be fitting the hard top back on the 110 and want to add a decent aerial for analogue radio. Also need one for the tractor as I finally tore the rubber-duck one off a on a tree. So what does the collect
ive recommend. Must be very strong, not too long and reasonable price. Don't mind paying for quality but so much of what you buy these days really isn't up to the job!

Years ago when radios weren't exactly standard we used to have whippy airiels for the tractors and just lift the top of the roof and shove it underneath and if needed just pop an earth wire on the mount as the thing was just loose in the roof space.

I usually try to use aerials off of cars that are semi rigid, bit like our Peugeot partner vans at work usem they're about 18" long but have some flex in them (not as much as the rubber duck ones) but give far better reception.
