No we don't have any LR shows in Scotland, have to drive down to the Uk, nor any green lanes.
Some of the clubs do driving throgh the forest's, also there is the AE chalenge first weekend in September.

We went in 2003, it is over 2 days, |Sat is like a fun day looking for clues driving along the tracks, Sun is the challenge, you can do the black extreem route or the red route where you look before you go. Live Life Ti'l You Die

There's a few clubs who organise local things:

http://www.highland4wheeldriveclub.moonfruit.com/

I have been two of the highland 4x4 trips and watched the trials, I had intended entering the "non damaging" course for road vehicles... But when I saw a few entrants weren't road legal and arrived on a trailer, I knew it would be more extreme than I fancied...and it was!

The clubs often do an "ORRIN DAM RUN" which is a long off-road excursion, non-damaging, but with a few optonal more extreme bits...I ave ever managed to attend one yet, but a mate does, and he says it's good fun...

Worth watching their websites for anylocal news? Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

That looks interesting.

I'm moving to Galloway in September for a year, so I too will be looking for Land Rover adventures North of the border! Especially since any driving I'll be doing in the forests for work will likely be in a Ranger or something equally horrible Laughing

The Scottish Green Road Club are the ones I've read about, do some nice drives over private moorland/forest etc. They don't seem to come down Galloway way though, perhaps they will rectify that in the future.
