Defender Build Spec
Curiosity more than anything else:

Recent correspondence from LR Customer Services included a detailed list of my vehicle’s build spec. All pretty standard stuff - even though I might not need to know the MHZ frequency of its perimetric & volumetric protection - but Forumites may explain any significance of the following: “No Pressure Control Release Valve”, “Front Axle 2 Pin Differential” and “Ratio 1210”.

Thanks,

Peter

Pressure control release valve would be, I'd have thought, on the clutch pedal (discoveries have them) so that if you just your foot off the pedal quickly, you won't get as much kangerooing.

Front axle 2 pin differential just means that, you have a 2 pin diff, not the HD 4 pin version (can be specified with the HD axle option)

Ratio 1210 would mean, i'd have thought, transfer box ratio 1.2:1, same as a discovery has.

Alarm frequesncy would be specific for different countries, as law states. sometimes they could interfere with other things,

Dealer here just told me LR were using a firmware fix for kangarooing Defenders Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
