2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Tonga Green
Simple tow bar - any suggestions?
Boys - am I right in thinking that you can still fit a bog-standard tow bar, without all the electrics etc? It's just to tow the odd stock trailer or maybe a small boat.

If so, any recommendations for someone to supply and fit in Oxfordshire?

Or a cheap plain non-adjustable one for £59

They're easy enough to fit yourself Thumbs Up Not worth paying a garage to do it.

All Pumas need an approved tow bar (unless it is a 2011 model year or later) so check for an approval sticker / plate on any you buy. Thumbs Up John

any ideas what the sticker looks like and says? Confused

I have got the standard one that landrover fit as standard if it of interest to you

Type approved tow bars are only a legal requirement on cars first registered since about 97.

Commercial vehicles do not need a type approved tow bar. USW Defenders for instance do not need a type approved tow bar by law.
