Thanks for the feedback folks, best left then by the sounds of it... Hoping to see the G4 tonight, at least I'll know now what I'm talking about with the owner for a change

It would be easy to get some made up by a perspex company, if you really wanted them. I had some perspex panels cut (albeit in black) they were shaped, drilled and polished on the edges and IIRC cost around £16 for a piece big enough to do both headlights, so I can't see a couple of clear ones being any more than that.
Also had some quite complex parts made for shop display, brilliant quality job - but that's another story.
