Does anybody know if the wiring is in place for the heated screen?

I can't tell by looking at mine as I have heated screen fitted, but a good mate of mine wants to upgrade. His is a 04 Td5 hardtop, like mine, I have managed to sort him windscreen foc Whistle , but now have to sort his wiring Big Cry

Not unless the vehicle left the factory with a heated screen fitted.

Here is a "generic" kit including the OE switch

http://www.mobilecentre.co.uk/land-rover-d...p-694.html

This is fused at 30A (350W) and is a single feed for the screen which will suit OE Pilkington screens.

Some aftermarket screens require a dual input which can be supplied as well.

We can also supply with a Carling switch or just the timer relay and you build your own

Thanks for that Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Looks like that's the easy option

I assume it's just plug and play?

Connections have to made that are not plug in such as power from the battery and illumination pick up from a nearby switch.

It is as close to factory as you can get in a pre assembled kit form.
