Looking at the diagram that LandRoverAnorak has posted above, it says that the green wire, pin 4 on the 12S, is a continuous live feed. This is different to the fridge feed which is on pin 6 (the red wire). I'm using the towing kit from LR with their electrics.

Guys
I'm refreshing my harness and found a strange connection: the purple cable, that should be permanent 12V as I understand from the Defender Wiring, is welded into RedYellow cable with the diode (what is it for?).

Should it be like this, or it's "customized"?

Also - what is this GreenBrown cable with the black connector at the end for? It is written in the Defender Wiring it goes to Diode, but there is no diode at the end.
