Indicator bulbs
For those of you that have clear lensed indicators or XS Defenders just curious as to what bulbs your using? Brand ect and more importantly to me are you using those "silver" bulbs or just regular amber bulbs? And finally any pics please? Thumbs Up Thinking of purchasing from autobulbs direct when I get around to it.

Thumbs Up
Steve

Good to know. I was thinking the same however seen on the net people mentioning not liking to look of the coloured bulb but I think that's fussyness. Thumbs Up

I've just got normal orange bulbs too and really don't think it detracts too much. Here's a pic of the front of mine, you can just see the orange bulbs behind the clear lenses, but it's not too bad. My lenses are also crappy Britpart ones because they were cheap at the time that I first changed them to try it out (when I had a black grille) and I've never got round to changing them for genuine ones - they do the job.

That looks nice to me. I don't think the bulb colour make much difference then really. After all the do have to illuminate amber all the same. Would the Puma sidelight unit work? (also genuine) Part number: AMR6514 I am also looking for the clear genuine side repeaters for the Puma does anyone have the part number / link?
Thumbs Up

I just swapped mine for genuine WIPAC units and orange bulbs. It doesn't bother me in the least that you can just about see the amber colour inside.
