Sell roof rack with/without lights?
I have a genuine G4 Expo rack for my now departed D3. It is fitted with the 4 maahoosive lights as seen here:
http://www.landroverg4cars.com/discovery-g4.html

I'm going to sell the rack and hopefully track down a Safety Devices LR 110 G4 rack (doesn't need to be from the G4, just the same design with the stepped floor) and I was thinking of taking the lights off to fit onto the 110 as they are worth a few quid. However doing so would leave the four holes in the front of the racks wind deflector.

So the question is, do you think that would put people off? Should I leave the lights on and get more for the rack - then buy some different lights (which would probably cost me circa £400 for 2 pairs)?

Dave,,

06 year G4's had Warn Lamps, if those, fog off with the rack..
If you have a 08 year G4 Rack, they were the Hella lamps, you want to be keeping them Thumbs Up

Beside, what do you need roof light for anyhow,, Shocked California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Mmm dilemmas, don't you just love them, I'm considering taking my safety devices cage off and putting a patriot rack on, to house the tent....

I'm sure you'd get more money selling them separately. Though it makes sense keep them, save re-buying!

@Tim, you know how dark it gets down here - you also know I'm a tart Laughing

@Greeni, if it's for a 110 and is the stepped floor version please pm me if you are looking to change. StanStorey has a hannibal one up for sensible money in the For Sale section.
