Right, when Andrew started the thread he made it clear it was not for people who didn't like it. So your point is totally moot. And to address me as a fascist shows that you don't know what the word means. Further, I'm sure LR wants to know what opinion is but do you think reps from LR read this forum? I very much doubt it. There are many other threads about the vehicle where there is a lot of debate, I suggest you post on those rather than hijacking this one with the usual nonsense. |

It will be interesting to see what does happen in the end, the Autocar article does sort of confirm what many of us are thinking; it's a nice enough concept, but is it a Defender replacement. So if they do make it as a baby land rover (built on the freelander platform), like the evoque is a baby range rover, where does that leave the Defender? Is it doomed or will the disco replacement and it's underpinnings be the basis for a true defender replacement - design one platform for both commercial variants and lifestyle ones too? |

I don't think I'm a moron ( C of E actually ) but I still don't think it is a replacement for the defender !

That auto car article seem to suggest the obvious , that the DC100 could be built on the freelander/gaylander platform , makes sense because it looks like one now and could be in production in no time . Maybe Land Rover could sponsor hairdresser of the year , giving away a DC100 to the winner ????

When I requested civility, it was not an invitation to carry on.
Some people like the DC100, others don't. Constructive discussion is welcomed, but if you only want to argue and insult continuously, go elsewhere. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |
