I am doing one at the moment and if it rains at the weekend I may finish it. If I do I'll drop you a line.

Series 1 ( Birmingham) badge from my very first vehicle , made in the year I was born , 1952, cost to me then was £75, with a MOT and a dead battery, think I was 18 when I bought it. . Now fitted to our ’06 TD5 Defender, on a KBX grill, far better than the plastic jobbie, a real badge !!!. Definitely need a matching “Birmingham” badge for the rear of truck. The badge has spent many years bolted to my Snap On box , now it’s in its rightful place on our truck.
The trailer has a Series 2 badge bought in , as its matched to the truck, colour and wheels/tyres we felt it need a the L/R badge to complement it,. This linking images is new to me, so hope it works!! [/img] [/img] |

I stripped the whole thing, then polished it. I used etching primer then some satin black. Once that was done I sprayed the whole thing with laquer.
