really riveted? or glued with fake rivets? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

You could buy the original SW ones for about a tenner 6-7 years ago then about 3 years ago they went up to £20 now they are up nearer the £30 mark. They do come up on E-Bay every now and then

I picked one up at the Great Dorset Steam Fair last year for £10, but when I found the alloy one I sold the original on eBay for nearly £30 Darren

Bought an aluminium-replica at:
http://www.allrad-kontor24.de/shop/shop/US..._aktiv=378 Comes without rivets, so you don't have to drill even more holes into her, used good old outdoor double-tape instead Click image to enlarge and a very nice supplement for the badge would be the genuine key-ring Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

The vespa-badge was supposed to go onto the leg shield of my scooter, but wouldn't fit. And because I still had the anonymised badge with rivets and therefore holes of the limited-edition I decided I could modify it and show my 'Italian' and my 'British' core together!

Blimey, that's a steep hill you're parked on The Defender will probably be ok, but I'm not sure about the ordinary car in the background... Darren

Falon Nameplates found solution for their website failure (payment mode) and just paid with Paypal. So now eagerly waiting for the arrival of their "Land Rover four wheel drive Station Wagon" nameplate. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I sometimes buy the old ones on eBay, strip and polish them, then use etching primer, paint with a few coats of lacquer to finish. It takes hours and hours of work and is what I do to destress, I just lock myself in the garage they look quite good when finished. Of course my wife thinks I am mad.
They start off like this. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
