Replacing Steering Wheel With Snap-Off Version
Since you guys have helped me out so nicely with everything else so far i thought i would impose upon you all once again for a little more advice.

I found this:
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/...ring-wheel
and
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/...el-adaptor

I wondered would i need much else to make this switch work, i have the factory fitted wheel in the cab that looks like it has an air bag in it, i know there are two spline versions, i am not sure about MY2012 vehicles?

Is the steering wheel something i could do with basic tools?

I have a set of seat risers and a bulk head removal bar to fit too, i just need a little more space and i think it will be more than comfortable. This flat bottom wheel should give the last bit needed.

i brought two of them quick release bosses and were no good Crying or Very sad quality is great but in a land rover there is just no room at all because it brings the wheel closer to you, i found the best thing to do is by a steering wheel boss either from ebay, bolt on bits sell them or alive tuning do a lovely looking one, then the quick release boss on ebay even though it looks a little cheap in the pictures on there its the thinnest one on the market and does the job perfect then get that steering wheel as you said Thumbs Up job done Wink

Yes,
I think i saw that really thin one on ebay.
It looked fine, i just wasnt sure about tooling and alignment after i get the old one off.
Type of thing i would imagine it is important to get right first time n all.

Pity those B&G ones are no good, they looked well enough made, thanks to the tip, another bullet dodged. Smile
