Quick update.
Had new discs all round and pads, new front hubs and bearings. Had the Koni shocks and D44 turrets done at the same time. Transformed
Just come back from a week in the body shop getiing the bi metallic corrosion sorted out. They did a fantastic job and there are no more grey bits - apart from my hair 
If you need a good paint shop let me know, the 90 was mixing with a Bentley, Alfa Spider and a few more expensive makes. Lucky the price did not reflect the marques ! Rear back windows put back this evening and putting the rest back together at the weekend. Shame a certain very well known Devonian 4x4 supplier can't give me a delivery date on the winch bumper

At the moment it is running the standard 10 year old LR springs fitted from new and they are damn fine
My theory is that once the spare wheel is back on and the winch fitted I may lose a bit of height but if the ride is OK I will leave well alone. I'm on std road springs plus Koni and it does ride well, especially on continental roads. I have considered slightly softer springs and stiffening the shocks for a more compliant ride on our rubbish roads but not sure which springs etc. So - leaving as it is for the time being. BM52

Peter at First Four made it for me. I had been let down by a well known Devon based company who failed to deliver. After a couple of months I gave up and contacted Peter, told him what I wanted and he had one of the next batch of bumpers modified for me. It is basically one of their standard bumpers minus the jacking points and with the two additional recovery hoops fitted. Ten days from contact to delivery and the quality is excellent

Goodwinch TDS 9.5, sitting in the store room (aka study !) waiting to be bolted on.
Bumper had to be able to take the TDS or Talon that I have on the 110 so I can swap them over if need be. Couldn't agree more, I wanted a bumper that was further back with the winch set into the grill. Peter produced exactly what I wanted, excellent result. BTW your 90's looking superb, beginning to wish I had gone for the same style of bumper 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top |

I have a TF tubular on the 110 that is excellent but we found out earlier this year that it is not very practical when you have to climb on it in muddy boots hence the reason for the more conventional flat top with tapered undersides. It took all of twenty minutes to fit the bumper and about an hour to mod the steering guard to clear the two reinforced lower recovery points. Peter did offer to leave the lower points off but was a bit worried about doing it as they are bolted onto the chassis for extra strength. Maiden voyage is at the end of September
Imber church is open and we are going there followed by a gentle drive round the plain to bed all the new bits in. Any pictures of your 'new' wheels yet ?
