As recommended to me by Blackwolf on here in the past. I would ensure the Gearbox output adaptor shaft is checked and well greased whilst the clutch is being done is an ideal opportunity.
Luckily for me, mine was in good knick but was then greased before reassembly. Some however, are not and are in a bad state due to being 'dry' assembled from the factory so have suffered a lot of wear, fretting and rust. They fail unexpectedly without warning too which is worrying and usually the above is the cause of this happening. So it's a good oppertunity to have it checked and lubed, hopefully it'll be decent like mine and won't need replacing if your lucky. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
