What new clutch?
I am planning on getting the clutch done on the 110 at some point.
The car has done almost 160k and had the flywheel replaced at 40k.

Currently, when the car is cold (mainly in the morning) I get a nice squealing noise when I bring the clutch up. I am guessing this is the release bearing?
Also the clutch is heavy and sometimes grabs a little when releasing, I also get a bit of judder and lurching when at low revs.
I have seen a 5 part clutch made by Valeo for about £380 - is this a good price?
Duel mass flywheel (OE Valeo)
Clutch cover OE
Clutch plate OE
Thrust bearing OE
Spigot bearing OE

Any other makes to look at or avoid (bad ones send a PM)

Either Valeo or AP for Td5 clutch kits. I don't have any experience with the 5 part kits. We usually obtain a 3 piece kit and a spigot, and then obtain the DMF separately in case it doesn't need doing. The price including the the DMF is very good. Thumbs Up

The noise is probably the spigot bush which eventually tends to get noisy after a while, otherwise, as you say, it could be the release bearing.

Regarding the vibrations and judder, you may have a contaminated DMF, possibly from a long term leaking fuel pressure regulator leaking down the rear of the engine and into the bellhousing and onto the clutch and DMF. If not diesel, it is possible it could be engine oil from the rear crank seal, or more likely, the back of the rocker cover gasket which leaks above the fuel pressure regulator, and again through the bellhousing.

If you are going to do it yourself, also get some brake and clutch cleaner to clean the inside of the bellhousing as it will probably be full of clutch dust, oil and all sorts of undesirable stuff. Also, the genuine DMF bolts are pre-loctited so if you are going to re-use them, get some loctite or obtain a set of new ones. And don't forget to torque them correctly!

The fuel pressure reg was leaking when I got the car and later on I found the rear rocker gasket was leaking (i fixed the leak with Puma sump sealant)

While its getting done, its a good chance to replace the DMF at the same time. I hope to be able to give the mech a hand doing the job as he is a good mate.

New DMF bolts sound like a good deal 1999 Defender TD5 110
