When Defender was new, bought full NoiseKiller kit - it did a good job...but not quite enough.
Added TGE panels, and put Dynamat behind...another good improvement. Dynamat around the inside of the seat boxes, dynamat under cubby box covering transmission, dynamat inside rear door (took door card off). Click image to enlarge I'm happy now - it's about the same noise levels as my old Disco2, I can hear the phone (hands free) and still do 65 mph on the M6 Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Im quite suprised that nobody has mentioned 'wrights off-road' sound proofing as used by the military Wolf Defenders.....
Quite effective, I can vouch for that.... http://www.wrightoffroad.com/products.htm Cheers Sean |
