Anyone Fitted JW Speaker Evo2 with DRL Integrated
I am considering replacing my EVO2's with the new ones with the DRL integrated.

Does anyone have any photos of them fitted and working ? LR Defender 110 XS Utility Wagon

Looks immense - I have been mulling over these for a while now - but now i'm going to have to get them, and the lazers!
Just the wiring up that worries me... spent all weekend wiring up the 13 pin electrics - first time under a vehicle and found that ok until i came to the battery - scares the Censored out of me. The lights do look worth the money though. Are the DRL plug and play also. or splice? Do i have to run a cable to the battery?

DRL are easy buy from Tim at the Mobile centre hell knock up a Plug and play side light feed then all you need is a 12v ignition fed live easiest IMHO is the heater blower under the hood NS bulkhead Thumbs Up

Would anybody have a wiring diagram how to wire these so that the tail lights come also on with DLR?
Also I bought the wiring loom from Tim, but cant figure out what the extra connectors are for.

There lamps itself has a 3-wire connector where 2-wires are connected, one red for FP and a blue for DLR.
The wiring look has this 3-wire connector all 3 connected, there is 2 black wires connected where there is no
wire in lamp connector. There is 2 black wires that go each to a 2-wire connector, one male, one female.
The red FP wire is also split and goes to these 2-wire connectors.
I don't plan to use the FP light as Defender already have the FP lights, but I would like to have the DLR
coming on when I start the car and also the tail lights. Also if I switch the lights on from the light switch,
I would like to have just the original FP and tail lights on. Switching the low/high beam from the light switch,
I would like to have the DLR turned off. Brgds,

Juha
