Apart from being the hallmark of good taste, it's also quite a useful combo - Golf for the long drives and getting places quickly/economically, Defender for lugging stuff around and outdoor fun. It also goes on the odd jaunt to foreign lands, just when we're taking our time about things. |

... and are you an Architect (according to Clarkson)? Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

About time I added my list. I'm young enough to be able to recall them all, and in order!
Landrover series III 88" diesel (later converted back to Petrol as original) Landrover IIA 1-ton 109" (still got) Citroen AX (broken into and written off due to the damage they did, they ripped the dash out, bent the door in half etc) Peugeot 106 (went to scrappage scheme in exchange for Panda...) 1966 Landrover IIA 88" (restoration project) Fiat Panda (my first NEW car) which was chopped in for... Defender 110 USW. I also have a share in a series III 1-ton that was rescued from a scrapyard. |
