Central Locking on the drivers door not working
I have replied also on another thread to this but that was in the puma section where as mine is a td5.

I have my first winter with my TD5 02 XS DC and now that the days are getting colder I have noticed a fault, the central locking on the drivers door doesnt work when cold, I have read somewhere about ACF 50, but being a complete novice I would have no idea where to spray it so advice would be greatfully received or any other ideas because although there could be much worse issues this is getting quite tedious already!

Thanks

Remove the door cards from the front doors and then carefully peel back the plastic water shedder - it is liable to tear ! New ones are approx £10.

You will then see all the mechanical bits of the door locks, connecting rods etc.

Spray all of the coupling parts with ACF50. Replace the water shedder and door cards.

I also spray ACF50 onto the door key and manually lock and unlock the door with the key - this gets some ACF into the lock barrel as well.
