South Africa 2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SW Alpine White
Last year I forgot to put mine back on after filling up in Sesriem, I usually leave it on top of the hi-lift jack on the rear bumper.

We drove to Windhoek over some 300km, mostly gravel. When we got there, I noticed the Defendoor was still on the hi-lift jack.

Then some miscreant stole it from the office car park Evil or Very Mad --

I epoxied a couple of magnets to mine, and then stick it to the cappings when filling up

Ordered Defendoor in preference to RDX given recent negative feedback on Bolt on Bits (although they look VERY alike) - also like the idea of epoxy gluing magnets to it to stick to cappings during fill up.

C 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs)

2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ...
1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold
2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone....

The RDX does look the same but then again it probably isn't the same. Only thing is with Defendoor I got a feeling might have to wait a bit Sad

maybe a bit late for this season but presumably it would help stop the filler cap lock freeze up? BM52

Only thing that makes me say about delivery is because it's from abroad. Shouldn't be long Thumbs Up

I think they look a bit tacky tbh, bit like those snow cover wingtop vents, there's a myriad of accessories available for Defenders and you can really overdo them - I prefer the 'less is more' subtle mods approach. Hey its your truck do what you wish Cool

For everyday use on the roads of sunny??Somerset I cant really see the need. Hundreds of Defenders are absolutely fine without them, having said that there are times in the mud/snow where I can see the benefit. I'm just not in the habit of buying things that I dont think I need or I don't think enhance the appearance anymore, I may still buy one though for those reasons above. 2005 TD5 90 Hard Top
