I had it happen , but it was only because I had brake light switch out and it had got stuck when fitted back and was holding the pedal down a bit , pulled pedal up , loud click and all fine , checked lights working ok

other than that could be problem with
master cylinder
flexi rubber brake hose
seized calipers
pads seized in calipers

its worth getting it checked professionally being a brake problem

The only time mine dragged was due to a stuck piston in one caliper.

"So they've fixed the issue. Apparently the brake switch was out of adjustment causing it to think the brake pedal was still being pushed causing the abs pump to stay activated and the brakes to hang on if that makes sense".

Just a quick update and also thanks for your suggestions. It seems the owner took it to the dealer and they pretty much sorted it straight away.

Thumbs Up

Ahhhh this is interesting, mine (2015 tdci) sometimes smells hot, I was thinking "is it the brakes?" but just put it down to the newness burning off.

The brakes sometimes squeek loudly when slowing down from 10 - 0mph slowly.

I drove it down to the local cafe this morning and on the way home I thought I heard the ABS kick in. Confused

Think I need to look into it a bit more by the sounds, I've only done 600 mile in the truck from new. The spawn of AndrewS
