Speedo not working either!
As well as the wipers not behaving, took the lan dy out for its maiden drive after completing the conversion from 300tdi to TD5 and manual to auto only to find that the speedo doesn't work.

Fitted a new oem transducer (black), and plugged into the TD5 loom but no worky?

Could this be linked to the wipers not working? 1996 Defender 130 converted to TD5 and auto

1975 Triumph Stag 3.0 V8

Do you get the mileage figure on the speedo? (question is really aimed at is there power getting to the speedo)

Or is it the transducer not giving as signal to the speedo head.

I've got power ok.
Apparently I've got wrong transducer - should be a green one. 1996 Defender 130 converted to TD5 and auto

1975 Triumph Stag 3.0 V8

Hi done this same converstion had the same problem has your transducer got 2 or 3 pins in it mine had two so had to change it for a td5 one. The plug also only had 2 pins in had to add another one for the earth.

Keith Gott refunded me for the black transducer and supplied the green one, both had a three pin plug.
Speedo now works as it should. Thumbs Up 1996 Defender 130 converted to TD5 and auto
