What i was maybe thinking of doing is changing the rear fog lense to wipac clear with a red bulb. Wipac clear rear brake and indicators with appropriate coloured bulbs and obviously the same on the front also. and rdx clear side repeaters (as Wipac don't seem to do these)

As such I would imagine there is no point at all other than looks purely and simply looks |

I just finished doing this a couple of weeks ago, including the clear Wipac reversing light to replace the fog lamp with a monster bright led cluster in it. I put leds into everything including the numberplate lamps, but not the clear indicators, as I didn't want to mess around with having to change the relay and risk losing the trailer indicator on the dash. I really like the look with all clear lenses against the grey paintwork. It looks much cleaner looking compared to standard with the different coloured lenses.
The only one I haven't any idea how to do is the high level brake light lense. I've not seen these available anywhere with clear lenses. Pete |

This is what I was after doing myself. Would i be right in thinking for the fog you used a reversing light lense with a red bulb of the same type (LED in your case) |

I think it is to make it harder for the bloke behind to anticipate which lights are important and therefore increase the risk of him running into the back of you. ![]() I like the location of my brakelights to be as obvious as possible - nowadays it is more likely than not that the guy behind is a moron who needs all the help he can get! |

Spot on. I bought a standard Wipac reversing lamp identical to the normal one on the left-hand side for about £6 from John Craddock or Rimmer Brothers or similar. With an LED cluster like this one inside: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1x-RED-13-LED-BA15S-...519805d0a2 brightness is definitely not a problem. It's eye-burningly bright. ![]() Pete |
