Well
now a first report using the car from my houe to work and viceversa for the lunch break. The car is more and more "agile" and the trotthle respponse is very fast. I thought to lose at the low rpm but it is not thus, indeed!!! The car start to pull from 1600 rpm and pull hard from 1800 rpm up to....... .....3800-4000..... I have my references: the last road feature to my house is a roundabout followed by a straight road up to a bridge. Normally, I arrive at the beginning of the bridge at 120 - 125 km/h. Now I was at more than 140 km/h!!!!! The problems now is to stop the car And the progression in each gear (above all 3rd, and more) is fantastic for a Defender....... I'll try to make a video of the tachometer.... Daniele p.s. also the noise from the engine inlet air grill is great !!!! My configuration is - BAS Remap (thank you PETE) - Allisport uprated intercooler (thank you PETE) - BAS hybrid turbo (thank you PETE) Cat is on the car, central muffler also..... Gives more power between 3500 - 4000 What do these things red line at? What sort of use is this extra oomph useful for unless you are just thrashing it?

I suspect that this turbo has actually fattend up the mid range, thus making it more drivable. Yes gains to the top end but more to the point coming in sooner for longer. Reckon maybe less gear changing !

Agree however DG that you need a stainless system on yours for the full effect and lose the Cat and Silencer 2009 XS 110 Utility Stornaway Grey BAS re Remap, BAS Turbo, BAS Spec Modified Airbox, Twisted Side exit Decat Exhaust, Allisport Cooler and Hoses, OME Sport Shocks, Kangaroo Paw Discs. 2001 Discovery II Porsche Speedster Replica 1956ish |

Its looking a hard deal to get them to do at the moment I think mainley because of warranty they will need to give and how to keep the price down. Ill keep asking them but its not looking like a goer so far. Pete |
