Fuel delivery Strike!
Heard it on the radio, they even said it's a good idea to fill up and fill up a jerry can at the same time and keep it in your garage |

So are fuel prices as a consequence of that going further up in the UK? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

They will be to pay for the extra pay, holiday and less hours the tanker drivers want. I remember when they threatened this a year or 2 ago and it was released that tanker drivers get paid somewhere between £50,000 & £70,000 a year. But that is not enough for the dangerous job they do Hell that a lot more than most house hold incomes in the UK! I think London tube drivers get about £50,000 a year and they say that an offer of £800 to work during the Olympics Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

I'd run out of juice before I got there
I remember being the only car on my M25 commute stretch on the last strike. Every one was crawling along the motorway at 30 mph leading up to that. Pretty SPOOKY |

Can we just be clear that as present there is NO strike planned. So people panic buying are just leading to more panic buying which the media loves because its a headline. Bloody stupid. Fill up if you need to, but that's it.

Blimey That seems an awful lot! I employ 26 tanker drivers and they dont get paid anywhere near that! ps: It only becomes a dangerous job when the idiot behind the wheel cocks up |
