Hi Steve,
I swapped mine for a new one last summer as I suspected it was faulty - not a bit of change, disconnected the egr at the valve, performance returned and I live with the yellow light until I can get my act together and get a remap. Keith |

Steve,
Firstly have you got one or do you need my spare? Secondly, you say you have a temp problem, have you got a scangauge fitted and if so has the inlet air temp gone wrong? Cheers Keith |

Remember as well there are two separate sensors in the MAF. One deals with the Ambient air temp and the other is used by the EMS to indicate air flow to be used in fuelling calculations by the EMS. So you can theoretically have a working Hot film sensor feeding the correct info to the EMS but have a faulty AAT which doesn't really affect the fuelling calculations. On the other hand a knackered Hot film sending spurious readings to the EMS causing high fuel use and other issues can be dismissed by some as the AAT is working so that must mean the MAF sensor is working fine when it is not.
