its SKoda Yeti in disguise
Skoda wondered who had pinched their design sketches I think I'll stick with my Defender 90 can not see many smallholders and farmers moving bales of hay and sheep with one them landrover/tata shoud stop trying to ruin a vehicle that has worked well with slight adjustments since 1947 |

If Land Rover keep listening and continue making more changes to the DC100 , in three months time we should have our first bright pink Defender2 ! Going to look appropriate in that hue !!!

It's growing on me - particularly a four door version. But then again, lately, I've been sort of admiring aspects of the Toyota FJ Cruiser from afar (and for that I sincerely apologise).
I think a new, modern 'fit for purpose' Defender (with a less toy-like quality i.e. FJ Cruiser) is doable - there's just a very fine balance between exciting and laughable. I'm no longer worried about the current model being replaced and I'm looking forward to slapping down some money on the latest incarnation - fingers crossed LR get the 'mix' right. Cheers and Happy NY to everyone out there. Rick 1998 RR HSE 2007 RRS TDV6 2008 Defender 110 2015 Discovery Sport |

I really want a bet bothways. I have a 2011 Puma, after the Gaylander/ Rav 4 been out a couple of years I will know if it is fit for purpose. Looks a bit plastic fantastic not unlike the Prado based FJ, they are subject to torsional twisting off road. In addition they rattle to bits with shyte falling off as you drive. There is a real market for a modern Defender, Tojo like land Rover is in decline in this area. I hope this will be not a lost opportunity.
