Hi Jammer, am not sure what you mean about reduced clearance.
Photo below, supplied by one of our customers shows final view before rear door card goes back on Click image to enlarge The bracket mounted on wheel box is moved out by about 6mm. Door card requires no trimming. HTH Brendan Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

So how do you get over Defenders with rear draw systems as that image shows that the door does not open far enough

Ken does raise a good point in the compatability between different items of after market equipment.
Not all aftermarket gear will work well together. Just been outside and open rear door of red 110. Standard door stay, chequer plate to inside of door BUT no cover over door stay. Mobile Storage drawer opened no problems. The black 110 has a post 2002 door stay fitted with standard door card fitted and a Mobile Storage drawer. Open the door, if the drawer is opened it might just catch the door card cover where it goes over the original door stay. There is movement on the drawer runners, drawer moved to right on opening it just catches the hump on door card. Open drawer to the left it clears hump in door card. If it bothered me I suppose I could move main bracket sideways to the left and door would open further. Would it be compatible with all makes of drawer systems? That question I can not answer but I would think so. Brendan PS Down to one now until next week |

FYI
Since fitting my strut to my 2010 puma with mss draw, the draw does clash with the rear door card, I have to push the door open a bit more, which I believe has now bent the strut a bit Tack |

Hi Tack, you should have let me know that you had a problem with the door gas strut. If it has bent we will replace it of course, no problem there. You have a pm.
