In the end they had it in twice, first time for two days second for four days. Charged me only for the new heater element which was 60 odd quid.

In the end they said it was a sensor had failed. However they replaced a heater element which goes into the DPF I believe.

They didn't tell me the actual code. They had a diagnostic tool plugged in and said it reported the cat overheating. It is also in and out of limp mode.

Yes cables are there at the speaker ends. Its going in to the local ICE centre today to get an under seat sub fitted. I'll ask them to sort it out.

Hi Steve,

I had my multimeter across + and - and there was nothing.

The earth (-) goes back to the head unit. How should I be testing that?
