| I just sprayed a little motorcycle chain lube onto it and that worked but due to the location of the linkage i think any lube will melt due to the heat from the exhaust so be prepared to get some drip ... |

| It’s a use it or lose it scenario with the linkage for the diff lock. Periodically lube the mechanism from underneath and also push the lever over from time to time, say before going on a journey or ... |

Rear callipers never last on a Defender. So LOF AP ones with stainless steel pistons are well worth the money.
