You can test them with a multimeter.
I read a post somewhere which told you exactly what you were looking for on a Td5 but I can't find it now.

I did find this 'generic' one tho ...

Controversially, I have had my Wolf Rims Hot Dip Galvanised.

They're good for life now, too shiny when new but once lanoguarded and used they blend in, unlike the rest of the galvanised bits...

Thumbs Up Easy job on a td5 should be 2xplugs in the door pillar I had to replace this loom as the internal cables had nipped.
