Agreed.
Just because you've got a hazard beacon, mounted on your flatbed transit, using a woefully inadequate winch & strop, doesn't necessarily make you a recovery expert!

Quick fist horizontally mounted on the back door just above the handle. Where it has the added advantage of being constantly "shaken-up" prior to any potential use.
