Diff lock engaged or not ?

	Hi a quick update Jacked one of the front wheels up today it turned ok, gearbox in neutral put in to diff lock high and it still turns freely Has anyone any idea what it could be

	Tried to use the diff lock last night but the light in the dash did not come on, how do I tell if it’s engaged or if the light isn’t working Thanks

	I’ve just done mine last week got the kit from flee bay for £40 it works well and very easy to fit

	Just checked the reservoir and that’s okay. if you double clutch it it works fine could it be the synchromesh going ?
