ah! I see sorry for the misunderstanding. The front shock was change not by compressing the spring but to remove the top housing under the bonnet of the truck.

| Do you mean was the spring even put back after removal? If that's the case, yes the spring in back in there. As of spring compresser, being mechanical challenged I don't know what it is? |
