ah! I see sorry for the misunderstanding. The front shock was change not by compressing the spring but to remove the top housing under the bonnet of the truck.

Do you mean was the spring even put back after removal? If that's the case, yes the spring in back in there. As of spring compresser, being mechanical challenged I don't know what it is? |
