Thanks - as I feared. Already got the batteries, so side terminal isn't going to be available.

Didn't really want to change the connection, wanted to be able to put it back to standard if required. ...

Hello,

It's exactly what happened to mine this winter. You have to take it off and put some oil into pinions.
Now, it works.

Do it switch on and off with contact or do I have to Plug and unplug the ScangaugeE evreytime I need it?
