I'm going to fit two yellow tops in place of the standard battery, with one split off as an aux. Can anyone tell me if the standard battery terminal clamp fits a yellow top?

If your a contortionist then you'll have no trouble. 
... and less injuries. I've left some skin on metal parts of the engine when I removed mine. |

It's exactly what happened to mine this winter. You have to take it off and put some oil into pinions.
Now, it works.
