I've just done similar, I mounted a 4 way fuse box in the battery compartment, this fuse box is made "accessory live" via a relay triggered off the back of the head unit.... A similar fuse that wired directly off the battery is also mounted in the battery compartment.

Thanks Rustandoil.
Could you expand on relay type? Did you route wires under transmission carpet? Cheers |

I used a standard 4 pin relay from Vehicle Wiring Products... That's where i get all my electrical parts from.
And yes i have run the RCA wires and relay trigger wire in sleeving under the transmission carpet. Mines a 110 so the dub aI will take a picture if you think it will help? Mines a 110, so the RCA and Sub wires carry on under the rear floor carpet to under the rear seat, relay trigger wires exit the cab through a grommet under the cubby box and into the battery box. |

Thanks again.
A photo would be really useful if not a problem. Just trying to decide whether to mount sub under cubby in a mud stuff box or under rear seat.. Cheers Rob |
