Hi all, I just posted a hello in the main forum before I noticed there was a separate V8 forum!
I collected my new to me Carpathian 110 yesterday, I’m nervous, excited and terrified all at the same time. I don’t know if I’ve ruined my life or improved it 😂
Not new to LR, I know their dealers well, I just traded in a low mileage Disco 4 Landmark, one of the last batches, and I have a 1998 300Tdi already on the drive. Also not new to V8s as we have a 2006 RS4 as well, though I’m thinking having over 1000hp on the drive might be taking the mickey somewhat.
Looking forward to getting to know the car and finding out more about it on here!

Welcome! You'll love the v8 - has two equally fantastic characters; sporty lunatic in dynamic mode and also wafty old-school v8 4x4 normally...

The pinnacle of ICE 4x4s if you ask me, before everything understandably goes electric (which is fun also but different) Cheers, David
Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8.

Cheers, I’ve not tried dynamic mode yet as the two journeys we’ve done we had the dog in the back, she doesn’t like the car at the best of times, I can only imagine she and my wife wouldn’t be best i pressed if I gave it large 😂
Wafting along nicely though, I’m sure she’ll make short work of our caravan 😂 Current Garage...
