Gearbox problem
Morning all , I’m having a problem with 1st gear jumping out even when it feels like it’s engaged , you start to pull out at a junction and bang it’s out !! Very annoying and not great around our narrow roads down here , so far I’ve fitted lof one piece input shaft new clutch over the last 18 months and the problem still exists , so I’m thinking next step is a reconditioned gear box , so looking advice on a good company to supply one and any advice form anyone who has needed to do the same .

Have a word with Dave Vanstone at Leon Vanstones of Launceston, very very knowledgeable guys nice and local to you.

They have done alot of work on my Defender. 2015 HT XS 90
2008 SVX 90
2000 XS TD5 90
