Roof liner fitting after insulation
Hello,
I have fitted my 110 Puma with 19mm Armaflex to insulate the roof.

Now I am having problems getting the roof liner back into its original position, as the liner has (obviously) less space than before. I am a bit desperate since I have already tried with two people to get it back into position. Any tips and tricks on how you guys did that?

Thank you

Use longer fir tree clips. Also when you added the roof insulation did you add it over the ribbed strengthened areas. Or just the roof itself.
One one of mine i changed a few of the fasteners to m6 Ruvnuts and a fancy black bolt. Never came off.. ever but was so easy to remove.
Below is with 3mm of dynamat and 15mm of foam. Fits no problems even with standard fir tree fixings.

I used 25mm fir clips and found it impossible to fit them where the rear headliner fits over the front headliner Rolling Eyes

Thank you for the fast response. Fotos attached.
Either way I am starting, I still have the middle section hanging down. I was trying to push the liner as was backwards as possible to have them aligned with the mounting holes for the pins.

That's the same problem I've had with my 90. The problem is the 19 mm Armaflex which is much too thick. The roof liner has the same shape like the roof and therefor the liner will no longer fit to the roof. I have overcome this problem by sticking car felt to the Armaflex. I'm very pleased with this solution and the car has become much more silent now.
