2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Fuji White

Just the diff lock light not illuminating

Hi Guys
There are lots of threads about diff lock switch issues and instrument cluster issues but I'm stuck on my 2.4 Puma!

Diff lock works fine
Switch works fine
There is power and an earth to the plug that connects to the loom towards the instrument cluster

Is it possible to get at individual bulbs in the instrument cluster (like in a TD5) or is it sealed?
I guess another option is a broken wire in the loom

All suggestions welcome please?

Have you bridged the wires that attach to the switch? That would test wires, and bulb.

Have you tested at the instrument cluster connector ?

2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 PU Tonga Green

Hi

Got the same issue - connected a wire / diode directly it illuminate when engaged lock and diff lock, but no light in the instrument cluster. Pulled the instrument apart but only a print plate

Can it be repaired or is is just something to accept not working?

Great - did not get that far of searching for repair, but considering the quality of the vehicle there af course a market for repair
