Roof rack plus AT2's = about 25mpg for me. That is mostly lots of short journeys too, with the occasional long-ish motorway dash at around 65mph. Which tank? 90 or 110? Drained until the light comes on or just to a level that you're comfortable with allowing it to reach? Darren

Hmm, a later 90 tank is 60 litres or about 13 gallons. Assuming about a gallon left a fill up, 300 miles on 12 gallons makes 25mpg. Darren

The old 90 would average 30mpg, the 110 seems to hover around 29mpg. Getting on towards £90 to fill up when the light comes on, and it'll go 430-ish miles between fill-ups. (tyres are AT2s)
Worst mpg I've had was 24 when towing a box trailer and with 7 people in the car, so if you're getting 20mpg I'd suggest there's something amiss Still my old V8 cost nearly £100 to fill when petrol was 80p/litre and would run out 300 miles later |
