Hoop set only with tub seats - is it safe?
I’m contemplating adding benches or Dickie seats to the tub of my 110 double cab. I’ve seen some soft top conversions (mine won’t be) that just have the heavy duty hoop set for protection. How safe is this? Has anyone got one ? Any issues with MOT air insurance? Thanks Ed.

I don’t think it’s legal to carry passengers in a pick up bed, if that’s what you’re asking.
110 double cab wasn’t designed to carry rear passengers.

That was what I wondered… but what’s the difference between the back of a 110 double cab and a soft top conversion?

The difference

Your house and every penny of your savings when the insurance company refuses to pay out for any victims that require care for the rest of their lives, whether in the vehicle at the time or outside.

Sorry for sounding blunt but you have to look at the worse case scenario. The double cab was configured to be just that, not a station wagon, and as for soft top conversions, that's their problem, no yours.
