Hello Dave
My Pleasure...(next year ) 'Best in Show' for me...the Black E-Type Click image to enlarge Originally white...complete nut and bolt / every component rebuild, retirement project...4 years (near enough every day) just spectacularly good... Jaguar age appropriate black, that not many ordered, to get away from the era when you could have any colour you want as long as it was black, also the grey with a hint of green leather interior, a Jaguar specification, looked just perfect. This Vehicle is within touching distance of Concours level according to owner, mechanically there, just the effort to get the detailing to the level required is on-going. An outright show car really, but what a good example. SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

I have to agree,
A great little show, so friendly and as metioned what a great way to spend a Sunday. I don't know any show where you could have a 1930's fire engine parked next to a Lambo More than a few D2N members present, and thanks to Mother Superior for providing facilities Zaid-M www.DefencePhotos.com 2014 Defender 110 Utility, 2.2 Puma, Indus Silver Not just transport more like a religion |

Hello All
For those of you who went last year, or thought that this would be worth putting in the diary for this year, please see below. The outline plan (from those who went last year) was to meet up 'on-mass' close to the venue... roll in together and then make our way to 'Landrover area' to set up a 'camp'. This is the first release details for the event from the organisers... Yattendon Classic Vehicle Day, Sunday 25th June 2023, 11am - 4pm Following last June’s very successful event, we are looking forward to welcoming old and new entrants this year. The show attracts a wide variety of marques, of -2,-3,-4,-6 -'n'-wheeled varieties (even some tracked vehicles). As before, we are raising money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance (nearly £3,500.00 raised in 2022!), and local village charities, so will be happy to receive a donation on their behalf. Since the number of vehicles attending has increased considerably, we have been advised to rent a Public Address system to convey messages across the site. Regrettably, this will incur a cost, and we would therefore be very grateful for a donation of £2 per vehicle on entry, or in advance, via Paypal (e-mail: commercial@ycvd.co.uk, reference: YCVD Entry) As in previous years, there will be prizes on offer for ‘Best vehicle’ in various categories, as well as a ‘Best in Show’. Apart from food and drink of various kinds, a diverse selection of non-vehicle ‘attractions’ will be on offer, in and around the village. In order to register the details of your vehicle(s), please visit: https://ycvd.co.uk/ycvd-entry-form/ We look forward to seeing you on June 25th. Best wishes Philip Bickford Smith Member, YCVD Organising Group SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

Another good show at Yattendon...
At around 30 degrees the D2N line up made the most of the shaded territory 'claimed'. Click image to enlarge Much to see, with the available space now nearing capacity, assuming the cricket pitch remains off limits next year, this show has a relaxed atmosphere with a diverse range of classic vehicles making a day of it...
