As above, it appears to be UKC3660 and you may want to sit down before you look up the price, if you can even find one. A pre-owned gearbox might be cheaper.

Perhaps stating the obvious, but is it not better to retrieve the one that you dropped?? Risky to leave it in there. And the screws? 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

It snapped off. it seems it is just braised on there. looks like brass. The plate and bolts still in place.
I may end up taking the whole box out to sort whatever the problem is (if that wasn't the issue), so will then remove. It can't get much crunchier in the gears ! |

I see... looking at the part pictures, it indeed looks like it is made of 2 parts, possibly brazed together. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
