If you could have………
One more gauge / dial on your dash, what would it be?

I use an Autool which is a really useful and small digital display, I can display all sorts of data (connects to obd socket), but which engine parameter is most useful or important. The trouble with engine temp, fuel line pressure etc etc (for me at least) is knowing what the acceptable limits are.

Outside air temperature gauge - has it got dangerously slippy as you've travelled furthering higher?

3 gauges is poverty to be honest. I have been looking at ways to add more gauges without reverting to jobbo look. I have AC (Td5) so limited space to hide

RPM - already fitted that instead of the clock
Outside temperature I agree would be very nice.
I would not mind getting the clock back
Turbo pressure is nice to have so you can keep in the powerbands
In the US people that drive Diesels like to add an exhaust gas temp sensor, still have to work out how valuable that would be.

With one of these Ultra Gauges you have access to around 60 plus different gauges..

Works a treat and is good for fault finding also Smile

In addition to the Outside Temp gauge that has already been mentioned, I really miss not knowing how many miles I have left in the tank

I'll agree with that one. Especially with it being a manual fuel gauge - range would be a helpful indicator for sure.

OAT gauge is the one for me, knowing how many miles left in the tank seems unnecessary as you generally know the range for quarter/half tank etc (and lets face it, it's never a lot of miles left at any point anyway!!). Laughing

For the 2.2 it would be good to have light showing when a regeneration of the DPF is happening.

I would love oil temp and pressure, one of those split gauges that does both, very useful info. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
